Business who tell their story and promote the benefits of their products or services through video, build better connections with people. Videos can communicate on multiple levels at the same time – to inform, educate, inspire, demonstrate and reassure.

Every photo, video and piece of content you publish represents your brand. DIY videos or poorly made content does more damage than good, like a photocopied flyer (with word-art) in your letterbox, it’s not great. Having professionally made content shows people that quality is important and ultimately they are important enough for you to spend some time and budget on.

It depends on who you are trying to reach. TV commercials, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram all have different  capacities and reach. We encourage business to distribute their videos on as many platforms as they can.

Yes, we provide professional live-streaming to Facebook, Youtube and Vimeo including Webinars, events, meetings, music gigs, recitals and  performances.

There are a few stages to every video project.

Planning (called Pre-production) – essentially figuring out what the video is about and the best way to get the message across. This involves various meetings, creative ideas, script writing and scheduling.

Production – the actual filming and recording. Depending on the project this involves crew, lights, cameras and microphones. It can also include a gimbal, autocue, green screen, drones etc.

Post-production – this is were it all comes together. We do an ‘assembly edit’ and then refine the video until is ready to share. We deliver videos in whatever format is required.

Projects are always a collaborative effort and there are lots of moving parts. Our dedicated Production Coordinator along with the Creative Producer make sure the project is well organised and runs smoothly.

We have a pretty tried and tested process to make sure every video is the best it can be. Collaboration is the key to achieving this. We include clients in the process and encourage you to contribute ideas and provide feedback throughout.

Yes. During the post production you will receive links to view the video. This helps ensure that we’re on the same page and gives you the opportunity to give feedback and suggest changes along the way.

Most video projects take up to 6 weeks. The 1-2 weeks are planning: concept development, script writing, scheduling and shot list. Week 3-4 for filming. And around 2 weeks for editing, feedback, changes, and final touches. When needed we are able to creative videos in a matter of days.

When sending logos and brand assets, we require either PNGs with transparent backgrounds, or EPS files. When sending photos, we require either high resolution JPGs, PNGs or TIFFs.

The budget for any video is broken down into 4 areas.

– Planning: concept development, script writing etc

– Production: filming, crew, equipment, talent etc

– Post-Production: editing, music, graphics, titles etc

– Delivery: formatting, CAD approval (TVC rating)

The total cost of a project varies depending on scale, complexity and intended delivery. Our Portfolio (link) has examples of projects to suit different budgets.

We find it is important to outline all costs upfront in our proposals. If you ask for additional elements or changes to the scope that were not in the proposal, additional costs will be added. If this happens we will let you know in writing.

Many organisations have annual marking budgets which are commonly submitted in May for the following financial year. Our Content Production retainer is a contract invoiced monthly which gives clients video content across 12 months. In a way, our team is an extension of the business and can respond when a video is need quickly or a strategy needs rolling out.

You (the client) retain the legal copyright of all final video edits. You can use this to promote your business on as many platforms as you can. We do not provided copies of raw footage, photographs or working files unless specifically requested. Copies of raw footage and photographs can be made available upon request at a negotiated rate.

The final video will be provided in whatever format you need. For most online and social platforms we provide a file download link via vimeo.com or wetransfer.com.

Yes, we have the capacity to make short films. If you are interested in approaching us with an idea, please get in touch.
